By using Luminary at readluminary.com, you agree to these Terms. Please read them. They are written in plain language because we believe you deserve to understand what you are agreeing to.
Luminary is a curated wisdom platform. We provide a library of quotations, a personalised daily email service, and related features. The free plan is available without payment. Spark and Flame are subscription tiers billed via Stripe.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We do not store passwords, we use one-time verification codes sent to your email.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly, annual, or one-time Lifetime basis via Stripe. Billing is in United States dollars. If you are outside the United States, your card issuer will handle the currency conversion.
No free trials. Luminary does not offer free trials. Every subscription begins with a paid first period. The quote library, historical write-ups, and practice techniques are available only to active paying subscribers.
No refunds. All sales are final. By purchasing any subscription or Lifetime plan you acknowledge that Luminary is a research and editorial product whose full content is disclosed to you on the first day of access, and that no refunds, prorated credits, or partial returns are issued for any reason. This is stated clearly on every purchase page and you must acknowledge it before payment is processed. If you are not certain you want a subscription, do not buy one.
You may stop future billing on any renewing plan at any time through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account page. When you stop billing, access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, access ends. Lifetime purchases do not renew, and access continues for the lifetime of the Luminary service.
This policy exists because the complete content of the product is handed over on day one. It is not a trial good. It protects the quality and the editorial work that goes into every quote.
You may not: scrape or copy the quote library programmatically; use the service to send spam; reverse engineer or copy our product; attempt to access other users' data. The quote library is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. Sharing individual quotes is welcome. Reproducing the library in bulk is not.
When you add personal affirmations and choose to share them with the community, you grant Luminary a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the service. You retain ownership. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate anyone else's rights. We reserve the right to remove content that is harmful, illegal, or inappropriate.
The quotes in our library are sourced from public domain works and properly attributed. Our curation, write-ups, techniques, and platform design are copyright © 2026 Luminary. You may not reproduce substantial portions without permission.
Luminary is a wellness and wisdom service, not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or crisis service.
To the extent permitted by law, Luminary's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We collect minimal data. See our Privacy Policy for details. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. Your email is used only to deliver the service you signed up for.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above and, if the changes are material, notify you by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
